Brief Description:  Cotter Pin in Left Rudder Cable/Alternator Belt

I installed a cotter pin in the left rudder cable screw.

I wiorked with Walt Halloran as he looked over the engine controls and i worked the throttle, mixture and carb heat control. He confirmed that a Adel clamp needs to be attached to the bracket aft of the Scat tube. to stablilize the carb heat control.

Walt helped me torque the alternator belt bolt to xx ft-lbs. Walt applied force and pulled down the alternator. I applied the torque wrench to the nut on the alternator pulley-retaining nut. The belt did not slip when 11 ft-lb torque was applied. The bolt on the attaching arm was tightened down. The bolts on the attaching arm were safety-wired to each other.

The spinner hub was installed under the prop bolts. The prop bolts were initially tightened to 30 ft-lbs in an alternating method going around the bolts. The bolts were then torqued to 65 ft-lbs with a 3" extension in the same manner. I safety-wired two bolts together, but not well. The will need to be redone.
