Brief Description: Connected Nav Light Power Wires/Left Doesn't Work
The right and left nav light power wires were labeled and then crimped together with another 18 ga wire into a blue connector. The single wire did not stay in the connector, so the other two wires were cut off. The wires were prepared for the connector. I cut a short length of 18 ga wire and doubled it up with the single wire. Heat shrink was applied to the wires and the connector. The single wire was run up along the left side of the fuselage and interlaced with the other wires. The single wire was run along with the other wires to the P-1. A Molex pin was crimped onto the wire and the pin was inserted into the P-1. The master was turned on and the nav light switch turned on.
The right nav lights turned on, but the left lights did not. My initial guess is that I mixed up the left nav power wire and the spare wire.
