Brief Description: Applied Fiberglass Cloth to Sides of Top Cowl
Getting ready for glassing the cowling sides, Walt Halloran and I cut strips of glass about one inch wide. After Walt sanded the sides of the top cowling, I mixed up epoxy and spread it on both sides of the cowling. We put strips along the outside and inside, one layer on each, on each side. Walt squeezed the two layers together to try to get rid of bubbles. The new glass will provide a base for filler to make a new straight edge.
