Brief Description:  Made Power Wire for Hobbs Pressure Switch

I stopped at Medina Airport and talked with the mechanic. I asked him about the wiring of the Hobbs meter pressure switch. He said that a power wire was needed to run the light. Based on that, I made a 20-gauge power wire and attached it to the C terminal on the switch. The white wire was pushed thru the firewall pass-through and then run along the bottom of the instrument subpanel. The wire needed to be attached to the circuit breaker panel, but access is very limited. The CO detector was removed, as well as the Dynon EMS D-120. The wire was attached to the bus bar on the Spare CB. The CO detector and EMS-120 were both replaced. Power was applied and the Low Oil Pressure light still did not come on.

I talked with Jason-Aerotronics about the wiring. Jason looked over my wiring diagram and noted that the power to the light was already taken care of thru the P-1 connector. Instead of a power wire to the pressure switch, the wire needed to be a ground wire.
