Brief Description: How to Take the Trim Cable Apart
I finally found the article on how to take the trim cable apart in order to install the cable into the bracket. The reference article was in the "27 Years of the RVator."
The knurled knob should be unscrewed and the black knob needs to be screwed all the way into the cable. The cable should then be pulled apart. The plastic end can then be rotated ninety degrees to the cable and the ball end can be removed from the hole in the cable.
This allowed the trim cable handle to be inserted into the bracket. The nut needs to be tightened.
