The shielded wires from the left headset jacks were pinned using D-sub connectors and the DMC crimper with the K13-1 positioner. The shielding on each wire was trimmed back leaving only about a 1/4" remaining. A length of black wire was pulled out of other shielded wire. This wire was soldered into the shielding and then pinned. Heatshrink was applied over the soldered joint with the shielding and then longer heatshrink was applied over the two sets of four wires.
