Brief Description:  Ram Air Door Control/Carb Heat Cable

I cut off the original ram air door control and riveted it to the new ram air door control. It was placed at an angle so that the cable has almost a straight throw, reducing the chance of binding. The fiberglass air inlet was notched out allowing the rivet heads to pass thru. The air filter was reassembled and placed back on the engine. The Scat tubing was reattached, as were the tube brackets.

Joe Walker assisted me with tightening the bulkhead fitting for the carb heat cable. I applied some red RTV on the cable before inserting it into the fitting. The cable was tightened to the clamp on the throttle brackets. The cable cover was cut off by about two inches to fit better at the air filter.
