Brief Description: Drilled out Nutplates on Carb Heat Inlet
The carb heat inlet was unscrewed from the air filter housing. Two of the three nutplates were drilled out. The carb heat inlet has to be rotated 180 degrees and so a new slot has to be cut into the inlet for the ram air door control arm and two new nutplates.
Jeff Paden suggested laying three layers of glass across the bottom of the carb heat inlet and then cutting out the center hole and drilling new holes for the nutplates and slot. I laid up three layers of glass on the bottom of the inlet.
