Brief Description: Trimmed Left Front Cowl Inlet Ramp
I put the seats away and cleaned up the shop after the shop tour.
I used the Dremel to cut off about two inches of the front of the left front cowl inlet ramp.I smoothed the edges and clamped the ramp in place. Placing the plenum in place, I saw that the plenum did not lay properly on the inlet ramp. I marked the underside of the two front cylinders for the desired gaps as noted in Sam James' plenum instructions. The gap around the barrel should be one inch and around the cylinder is 2 1/4".
