Brief Description: Trimmed Sides of Windshield/Drilled to Roll Bar
I called Scott-Van's re the notching of the top skin for the windshield. Scott said it was an option to do.
I decided to trim 1/2'' off each side of the windshield. This will allow the windshield to lie more flat against the top skin, if I don't notch it. If I decide to notch the skin, the notch will be that much shorter. I used the oscillating tool to trim the windshield and then used the mouser sander to sand the edges.
I added a few more clips along the front of the windshield. I drilled the windshield to the roll bar, starting in the top center, working down alternating from side to side. The canopy was closed so that I could match the arc of the windshield to the canopy. As I drilled down each side, I added nylon washers between the roll bar and the windshield. I added one to three washers along the bends to have the windshield align with the canopy.
