Brief Description: Cut out the Fuel Selector Cover Pieces
I cut out the smaller cuts of the top pieces for the fuel selector cover on the bandsaw. I also cut out the U-shaped cut-out on the removable trim bracket piece on the bandsaw. I cut out the side cover pieces from the .040 6061-T6 aluminum sheet. I marked the lines on each piece that needs to be bent. I clamped the bending brake to the workbench. Using the brake, I bent the side covers, the flanges on the top cover and a forty degree angle on the trim bracket. I cut out another F-699 bracket from the .063 material and cleaned up the edges on the Scotchbrite wheel. I bent the bracket on the bending brake but bent it the wrong way and had to make a new one. I clamped all of the pieces together and placed them in position in the fuselage.
