Brief Description:  Finished work on Control Rod/Riveted NACA Vents

Applied torque seal to the rod-end bearings on the F-689 control rod. Cleaned up the scratches on the center of the rod, caused by inserting and taking out the rod in position. Reprimed the areas. Cut out sixteen spacers 1/2'' square to be used for riveting the vents and then drilled #40 holes in each. I borrowed silicone sealant from Jeff to apply to the NACA vents. Laid a bead of silicone on the perimeter of each vent, clecoed each vent in place, and then riveted each vent. Before riveting, I applied silicone to each spacer to hold it in place for riveting. Used the rivet gun and Tungsten bar to rivet the vents in place.
