Brief Description: Started work on Floor Pans/Drilled out Nutplates
I had ordered replacement seat pans F-639/640 (again) and received them on 4/11/09. I pulled off the plastic and cleaned up the edges on the Scotchbrite wheel. I took the flap actuator out and drilled the bolt holes in the plastic brackets with #10 drill bit in the drill press. This larger bit for the 3/16'' bolts allow the bolts to go in and out more easily. I drilled out three nutplates that will be properly positioned on the left center ribs. Drilled the new nutplates in place, but only drilled the screw holes to #40 size. Clecoed the left seat pan in place. Deburred all holes and vacuumed the area.
