I placed a 1/4" spacer under the HS rear spar and leveled and squared up the HS. I drilled the rear spar to the VS vertical brackets using the #30 bit. I drilled the bolt holes for attaching the HS to the aft top deck, longerons, and cross-bracket. I started by drilling pilot holes in the longerons and cross-bracket to ensure the holes were centered. I then positioned the HS in place and drilled matching holes in the spar. It was then a process of upsizing the holes and taking off/putting on the HS for drilling.
