Brief Description: Made Brackets for Strobe Power Supply
Drilled one-ear #8 nutplates to both baggage ribs for the screws attaching the EF-602 channel to the floor. Following Dan Checkoway's plans, made brackets for the strobe power supply. The power supply will be bolted to the brackets which will be riveted to the floor aft of the baggage bulkhead. Used .063 angle and riveted two pieces together for each side. Drilled the power supply to the brackets for the AN-3 bolts. Drilled nutplates to each bracket and countersunk the #40 holes. Used pneumatic squeezer to rivet the pairs of brackets together and then the nutplates to the brackets.
Used the Scotchbrite wheel to smooth the edges of the base of the power supply and ground off some insulation on the return wire. This will need to be replaced.
