Brief Description: Trimmed/Drilled Right Flap Cover in Place
Trimmed the rest of the right cover panel F-605 for placement over the flap actuator. Used the #30 hole finder to drill pilot holes in the flange of the cover panel that sits on the floor panel. The five #8 screw holes that had been drilled in the cover panel and the EF-601 channel were lengthened a bit. I found that the cover panel did not fit properly, so these holes were made a bit oblong. I drilled the flange screw holes up to size.
Need to check these: The cover panel was then drilled to the EF-602 aft channel for the three #8 screws, but with the 3/16'' bit. The right side of the base of the EF-602 aft channel was drilled to 3/16''. Checked 10/14/08--OK
Rotated the fuselage over and put it on its right side. This allowed me to work on the left cover panel. Trimmed the rest of the left cover panel F-605 for placement over the flap actuator.
