Cut out remaining pieces to be fitted on one side of each crotch strap bracket. Bent pieces in bending brake. Positioned left aft bracket in place and drilled replacement flange in place to bracket. Placed tape across the two ribs to keep them in place for proper spacing. Made piece to be riveted to crotch strap bracket because I had slit the lower portion earlier. Drilled this piece in place.
Visitor-Walt Hallaron. Talked to Walt about him painting the plane when it is ready. He should be able to paint everything except the wings at the shop. He will do the job for cost of materials and whatever I feel is proper compensation for him. He thinks that materials will not come close to $5000.
