Brief Description:  Worked on the F422 FWD belly skin

I spent some time today drilling the newly fabricated belly skin to the skeleton. It's pretty amazing how much rigidity that .040 skin adds, even when clecoed.

One problem I ran into, is at the F402 bulkhead. It is formed to accommodate the SIDE of the lower forward (1"x1") longeron, but NOT the top of it. SO, the belly skin sat 1/8" too high at the longeron. No big deal. I took the left and right halves of the F402, and drilled a relief hole, and notched the end to accept that longeron. Everything sits flush, with no preload. No picture, I forgot to take one.

The skin is now drilled back as far as the F404 spar bulkhead.
