Brief Description:  Finished the RH aileron

Today I set up the primer booth, as I had to prime the inside of the nose skin, and the top and bottom of the rear skin, where the nose skin overlaps it. I also primed the galvanized counterbalance rod, even though it really wasn't necessary. After the primer was pretty well cured, I assemble the aileron. Like the left aileron, it was a chore to get in and buck the rivets along the spar on top. After I got them done, I riveted the top of the end ribs, and worked my around the nose ribs. For some reason, the holes in the nose skin that attach the skin to the couterbalance rod lined up better than on the other aileron. I flipped the aileron over on its back, and started riveting the trailing edge (end ribs) forward. This seemed to help things line up better at the spar. I finished the bottom row with the pull fasteners, and it is now complete. Well, all that is left is attaching the 406 and 407 attach brackets on the end. The holes are drilled, and I just have to bolt them on. Another completed sub-assembly!
