Today I started the RH aileron. Off and on, I got in 3 hours. I started by fabricating the aileron skin stiffeners. In picture # 2, I am drilling the bottom skin stiffeners to the skin and table. Not shown, but while I was drilling these, I had lead weights in between each stiffener near the trailing edge to be CERTAIN that the skin was laying perfectly flat. After all stiffeners were cleaned up and deburred, I deburred the holes in the skin. I then fabricated the A-408 spar reinforcement plates, and drilled them to the spar ends. I finished the day by deburring the A-408's, spar, and all aileron bellcrank parts from yesterday. Next I'll have to scuff everything and prepare for primer.
