The CS spar needs troughs for the spar caps, upper and lower.
First templates are made from copies of the plans sheet. These were easy to make but I don't trust them to be perfect like the rest of the plans....whcih are not spot on either.
I then routed the groves and finished with sanding sticks. This was after a day setting up lines drawn on the spar. I didn't quite cut to the lines as I want to set up trial layups later to get the real required deth of the caps so I ensure the troughs are deep enough and don't sit proud of the wing area.
