Once I had the pads lined up with the marks on my window 26 feet away I knew the plywood bases were in position. A lot of Bondo or builder bog was carefully applied all over the place to ensure the template pads were not going anywhere.
I tried routing things sideways but soon realised I needed to turn the fuselage on its side to get a good job. I did this carefully, its getting to heavy for one person but no one else was around.
Once one side was done, I rolled it over again and did the other side. ...well, it took all day but I have my complex flats routed out finally.
