I kept adding pieces until I had my box as you see in pic 1. At this stage it was 5 mt glued together with the BID on the inside.
Pic 2 shows that I've now added 2 ply BID tapes 1.2" wide to all the corners. I should probably have just used 1 ply here. Its very strong. I did that the previous night after a long day on the build.
Pic 3 shows that I've sorted out where the screws will go and floxed little hardpoints into the foam. These were some thick leftover layups I'd make a while ago. I was hoping to use Garalite but my order is taking forever to get sorted out so I'm just going ahead without it.
I've also done a one ply BID layup over the top of this. I'll do the other side tomorrow. I guess I could have done both together but this will ensure everything stays put for the cure and I have been working on the seat while doing this.
