Yesterday I glued and clamped the counterbalance tubes on. It took a few hours with repeated checking of the alieron cord relative to the tubes, there are measurements in the plans. You can see after cure today, a bit of a micro lip.
Pic 3 shows that I've cleaned the edges and blended in the surface as well as dulling the glass an inch in ready for the one ply layup to come.
Apparently having the airflow going smoothly here is important so I've put extra effort into a nice transition.
