The second ply took as long as the first really. The first pic shows the cross threads, however the main threads are correct and straight for both plys. I'm happy with the results. Note that I followed the CP 26 which have updated the plans on this job.
Putting on the peel ply took AGES. I just added lots of extra epoxy on top and heat to spread it around. I felt the layups were not at all over wet and I didn't want to rob the layup so felt OK about adding epoxy here.
It looks like it worked out well. I'll do a bit of a clean up when it cures and then we are looking at the spar cap layups where I'll definitely need some help.
This layup was a good five hours on my own, these big ones are fun with some help.
