This step is adding hardpoints externally in the same place that other 2024 T3 hardpoints are interally.
There are 3 points per wing and all these metal pieces at each location need to line up. They are later drilled through for the wing bolts. I'd made all the metal pieces earlier and had them alodyned, ready to go.
I used a router and then roughed up the surface where I could see the internal point where they should be on the two ends. Then just mixed up some flox and I used a flat block to ensure that my metal points would be flush with the top surface of the spar.
