This step is just gluing the sides on with wet micro. The plans are pretty vague on the whole construction of the sides and seem to concentrate more on the pivot block which I'll do later.
Light pressure for clamping helped squeeze a bit more glue out. I checked for approximate straightness with the square. After the sides were on I thickened up the remaining micro and added some to all the corners to help the glass lay out better later.
After cure I did run around the mocroed edges with sandpaper and the dremel to take the shine off prior to the next layup.
