Brief Description:
Preping the main gear bow
The gear was sanded with an angle grinder. All the shinny spots were removed and the ledges and bumps smoothed out.
I wore a full cover painters suit with a hood, breathing gear and the usual gloves. No itching afterwards. I had been warned.
This took all day but a good result with smooth transitions where the bumps were.
