Brief Description:  Primed VS, Rudder, and part of HS

Sanchemed and primed the VS, rudder, and HS rear spar components. The whole process was tedious and not a lot of fun. I think I will not do mutliple sections in one go like this anymore. Instead I'll do each section as they are ready. I basically spent all day Sunday doing this and it was just too much. AFS gives you a max of 12 hours from when you prep the metal before you shoot the primer, so I didn't have the luxury of stopping and coming back. Once I started, I was committed. The Sanchem treatment was easy to apply for the small peices, but a ral pain for the skins and larger items. Also, I'm not sure how well it took as there was little color change. What there was, was uneven and splotchy. The primer went on OK, but I tell I need practice. Some peices I did well, others, not so much. All in all, I'm satisified with the results, at least enough to keep on using both products.
