Brief Description: Drilling single fastener joints
To keep a joint aligned while drilling where only one fastener holds two parts together, I made two clamp blocks, one with a hole big enough for a cleco to fit through and the other with a hole bigger than the final drill size. The parts are clecoed thru the first clamp block, then a C clamp is applied using the second block over the cleco teeth and tightened. Then the cleco can be removed and the part drilled, while the parts remain clamped tightly together.
