Brief Description: Additional nose weight stations
Over the last few days have been nibbling away at fitting the additional nose weight stations through F-0. Have checked they still sit downhill in the tubes when the nose gear is retracted, and don't affect foot room, access to nose gear pivot bolt and still load properly through the front door. Attempted to drill through starboard side to clamp them in place with a wingnut cleco, but it does not work, and I'm not game to try the port side because of proximity of the pitot tubing buried inside somewhere. I marked its position on the inside of the fuselage, but can't see it through the external finishing.
Go a bit simple and hot glue some wood blocks to the fuselage floor, and these locate the tubes nicely. Bit more trimming of the rims of the tubes at the forward face of F-0 and they are ready to go.
Oh! and prep sanded everything I could think of, and cut flox corners on both sides of F-0.
