Continued profiling cove foam, and preparing the exposed glass. Prepared a flox corner above the internal rib on the Winglet, and profiled the foam/glass/flox to overlap the internal Rudder cove layup onto the hidden bellhorn. Noted interference in the bottom cutline, and remember an undocumented plan to emulate VH-EZS. Too late now.
Have formed the plan to avoid all the clickbond Rudder installation problems reported and will rivet both hinge halves to the Rudder and Winglet. Experimented with a mockup and discover that 2" extra of hinge pin, with a 90 degree bend in it retains the pin nicely in a bit of hinge set into the cove to recieve it. It can be removed with needle nose pliers easily, and can't shake loose. Winner!
