Brief Description:  Drill &Cleco the elevator skin to the skeleton

I deburred the edges of the elevator skin. There were a couple of banged spots that required some filing.

I marked the elevator rib rivet lines at 10 mm from the edges and then placed the ribs into the elevator skin. After getting the marked rivet lines aligned with the predrilled rib pilot holes, I drilled and clecoed the front rivet holes for each rib.

Then I began drilling the bottom holes. I started with the center holes on the center ribs, pressing the assembly flat on the table beneath the rib being drilled. I drilled and clecoed every other hole.

I proceeded to the middle ribs, doing every other hole.

When I got to the outer ribs, I noticed that there seemed to be some twist in the ribs. As shown in imags 1 & 2, the right end was about 13 mmm off the table at the 3rd from the rear rivet, while the left end was only ~5 mm off the table. If I pushed down on the right end, the left end lifted up, indicating some twist. I emailed the photos to ZAC and called them about the twist.
