Brief Description:  Sec Panel-30

I need to get the new CNC cut sub panels mounted to the panel overlay so that I can mount the OP Tech MFD to see if I'm going to need to relocate the JPI EIU. So I fit each sub-panel to it's relative position, sanded 7 filed to get a snug fit, but also so that it's won't mar paint when inserting/removing on a painted panel. The Pilot subpanel wasn't sitting flat, and rather than warp it by tightening the screws, I taped the back of it and then trowled in some flox and let it sit overnight. cleane d up the excess that squooze out and then match drilled the sub panel to the opening, I made new mounting brackets for the OP Tech mfd mounting cases, and mounted the Pilot mounting case. After attaching all of the other subpanels. I reengineered the Co-pilot sub-panel so that it can be inserted and removed with the EFIS similar to the PIlot side. previously it was attached directly to the panel mounting flange. Now each sub-panel can be independently removed for access from the cockpit side of the panel. this was an early design goal that I had not met. Started on mounting the trays for the center radio stack. Dang Garmin and their Transponder, the tray is a few thou wider than the SL30 & 40, and I mounted the barckets for the SL30/40. so I needed to do some filing....... I've just about got the sub-panels remounted, and i checked and they are LEVEL this time!!!!!
