Seems like I should have accomplished more, but the heat is definately eating into my productivity. Started today, by finishing the countersinking of the remaining sub-panel mounting screws. Then filed and sanded rivets flush for Co-pilot and Centerstack sub-panels, sanded out all scratches, and primed for paint. I finished the control cable inserts for the 2 panels that utilize them. this is what prompted me to get on with this in the first place. I fabricated some mounting brackets from .090" to mount the fuel purge control and the Ram air control. I mounted both of these on the bottom of the panel close to the centerstack. I hope they're not too much in the way of knee bangers. I mounted both of them with nutplates and #8 pan head screws. I wasn't happy with the pilot side sub-panel, and decided to remake it. Took a bunch of time, but now both of the air vents are at the same height and there's better spacing of the plugs and switches.
