Checked KT76A wiring, checks out good. Checked antenna wiring again for continuity and shorts. Took coax connections apart and sprayed DeOxit. Don’t like the looks of scuzzy old BNC adaptor. Removed antenna itself, noted cracked insulator. Ordered new Comant UHF blade antenna.
Met with Jeanne and we decided to go ahead and order a new starter, which I did.
Tomorrow I will pull cowls and remove the starter. Have a new puddle of oil on the floor so that will be investigated.
