Brief Description:  Starter and more.

Removed both cowls. Looked for new oil drip, likely from oil strainer. Drained oil and replaced crush gaskets both oil quick drain and oil strainer. Replaced O ring in quickdrain.

Removed starter and disassembled. Internals look OK but a tiny ferrous metal chip found on the engagement gear. Pretty much confirms my theory that starter was not always fully engaging the gear in the accessory case, resulting in the big grinding noises. Carefully inspected gears in the accessory case. Found no metal ferrous metal chips in oil strainer. Verified that order went into A/S for new starter.

Removed top two protruding rivets in front of bottom cowl, replaced with double-flush. Replaced worn Tinnerman in upper cowl, same area.

Located old loudspeaker panel and headliner attach braces and clips. Removed panel per IPC Figure 76. Fabricated new channel to replace the old one with the poor repair.
