John at home: Retested Grimes light. Still no joy on motor. Suspect open coil. Reassembled and packaged up to send to Bill for him to eveluate. Emailed staus to Bill. Will redirect efforts to the plug-in landing light, Panel layout and wiring needs to be re-engineered. Researched source for primer packings.
Sam at airport: Presurized fuel system, found bad quick drain valve, ordered replacement. Found that primer leaks, leather packings are deteriorated. Soaking in mouse milk (per Bill). Rerouted mixture cable through new hole in firewall, ordered end connector. Temporarily mounted starter. Looked into sources for rubber fairing seals.
