Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. I am building an RV-8 aircraft designed by Vans Aircraft. It has two seats, arranged in tandem, multipurpose airplane, including aerobatics. Top speed 240 mph with a 7.8 gallons per hour fuel consumption, and a range of 855 sm at 75% power. Positive G 7.5/Negative G 3.5 capable. It has reasonable cross country use with two baggage compartments, and suitable for off field grass or gravel unimproved strips. All the external skin rivets are flush, so she is as clean and smooth as a baby's cheek...:) I began my flying adventures in 1970. Much of my flying time has been in Alaska. I hold a Commercial Pilot with an Instrument Rating,and Tail wheel endorsement. My profession as a Veterinarian keeps me very busy, but my heart and mind is always looking to the sky. Most of my flying now consists of flying to remote bush communities and villages, to provide veterinary services, as well as recreational. In years past, I was an active volunteer pilot for Angel Flight Central (www.angelflightcentral.org) I am an active member of the EAA Chapter #1129, the coordinator for the "Young Eagles" and board member in Fairbanks, Alaska.
