Brief Description: Finished 2nd Piece of Tail (Verticle Stabilizer)
All of the VS parts were primed and ready for assembly when I left for work a week ago. Started today by clecoing the reinforcement bar and rudder hinges in the rear spar channel and riveting those pieces together. Then I riveted the four ribs to the front spar. Next I clecoed the VS skin to the ribs and front spar and riveted every other hole, moved the clecos and riveted the remaining holes. Then I attached the rear spar and riveted it to the ribs and skin.
The riveting went a little faster than it did for the horizontal stabilizer. Fewer rivets and the learning curve wasn't as steep. Next section will be building the rudder.
