Brief Description: HS Pre-assembly (skins to understructure)
Countersunk four holes on the replacement splice angle and the reinforcement angle. Put the countersink bit in the drill press and it was much easier to control and the dimpled holes in the rear spar fit perfectly.
Cleco'd the skins to the horizontal stabilizer. Pop helped and it was much easier with someone helping to align the holes in the structure with the holes in the skins and insert the clecos.
Inserted the four center ribs, marked where the holes in the skin line up, marked a centerline in the rib flanges, removed the ribs and fluted and straightened the rib flanges. Reinserted the ribs and will clamp them in place and drill them next session.
