Brief Description:  Made Lower Aluminum Stabilizer Fairings

RV6 plans call for aluminum lower fairings without the need for rubber gasketing if you keep the gap tight. You can have 1/16 to 1/32 gap and not require the gasketing. Thats what I did. I also decided to extend the lower fairing all the way to the aft end, overlapping the fiberglass fairing. Full elevator movement without interference and it looks great. These fairing are held on by 6/32 flush machine screws which screw into tapped 6/32 holes through the fuselage longeron. The forward-most and rear-most attach points utilize 6/32 nutplates for additional strength.
