Moving along on canopy frame, I double checked the measurements and then drilled the hinges to the fuselage. That is a multi step process where 6 pieces are involved for each side. Its a tight fit and everything needs to be perpendicular and/or parallel to its neighbors for a proper fit. Thank goodness I had a .249 threaded drill point/reamer for the last task of drilling the hinge bolt hole throught the thick UHMW and the short rib next to it. Its all good.
Each side looks the same. Last hole drilled is the hinge bolt hole.
Temp using these mounting pins until the McMaster Carr locking pins arrive.
Guess I need to touch up some primer after shaving with Vixen file.
