Brief Description:  Mount Nose Gear and Main Wheels

Had the Mobil SHC100 synthetic axle grease so I removed all the bearings and filled them up. Installed all bearings, tapped the wheels onto axle, and with spacers on outside of each bearing, tightened up those big axle cap nuts. How tight? Don't know yet, so I'll find the info in the plans and get that done so I can drill the axles for the cotter pin that goes through the nut and is used to safety wire the end bolt in each of the cap nuts. Thats where you add another reinforcing brace for the wheel fairings on the outside of each wheel. Needed to open the firewall hole to 7/8 to get the socket on the nose gear attach bolt which gets inserted from inside the firewall upwards. Air pressure in mains were set to 30lbs a couple weeks ago and today I checked and they were 27. Whasssup? Ans: Temperature change. 2 weeks ago it was 80, Today its 45. Figure about 1 lb for each 10 degree temperature change. No leaks.
