So, I spent today following my printout and wiring the necessary pins with the different AWG sizes and lengths to get ready to run those wires to all the devices. Like, 14AWG to the heated pitot, 18 and 20 AWG to the others. Started as a tangled mess and ended with coiled wires marked with tape for location. Now I can plug in the connectors and sort the wire runs. I need to add a few nutplates on the forward rib bottom flanges and sub panel to hold the correctly routed wires. Trying to decide how I want to ground all the VPX signal switches on my panel. Locally with a larger ground back to the firewall or individually to the firewall. I also managed to wire up the master switch and liked hearing the contactor noise when I flipped it. The simple things make me happy.
Made 3 VPX harnesses. Marked up the Dynon EMS harness.
One of the VPX power harnesses
Connected the harnesses to VPX. Ready to run wires everywhere.
