Brief Description: Finish match drilling. Cut access for Ellectric T
The left aileron has the electric trim assembly to finish installing. I really was nervous cutting the perfectly good nose skin. After I finished match drilling the spar and outer aileron ribs and nose ribs, I set out to make the electirc trim access cut. I thought it was supposed to be 3 1/2 inches wide plus the width of the nose rib flange (5/8) for total of 4 1/8 inches. Made the cut only to eventually realize I needed 4 1/2 inches. Don't know why the plans called for 3 1/2, Live and learn. No problem. Cut the additional width and proceeded with the installation.
