If builders used the original RV6 center console fuel selector structure, the structure itself provided for connection between the spar bolts and the center floor stiffener angles. I used the RV7 center console, modified for my Andair tank selector and special structure which did not connect the spar to the center floor stiffener angles. Vans advised I should just fabricate two more F699s to comply with the plan design so thats what I did. Pesky little things that happen when you alter the plans. My revised structure actually connected those center floor stiffener angles to the spar via the F604 bulkhead which is directly bolted to the spar, but Vans still wanted a frontal spar connection. So thats it.
My revised fuel tank selector structure gets added to this picture connecting via those 8/32 screws.
Machine screws attach to nut plates in the tank selector structure.
