Brief Description:  Getting ready for engine start

Cleaned the fuel injection servo of stored dust. Tightened and secured the alternator with safety wire. Remounted the intake snorkel plus gasket and safety wired the bolts. Drained all the preservative oil and filled with Aeroshell W100 Plus (50W). This is a 600 hour engine. After replacing the lycoming sump with the Superior Cold Air Induction Sump, the Oil dipstick quantity markings were off by about 1 quart. I had trimmed off a little of the bottom of the dipstick to fully seat the dip stick in the new sump so I had to recalibrate the oil level markings as I filled the sump one quart at a time up to 7 quarts. I will re-stamp the dipstick at the correct volume marks
