I decided to safety wire the various hose and tube clamps firewall forward. Did you know there were 41 clamps firewall forward to safety wire? They really add up fast. For example, Superior Cold Air Induction Sump = 8 Exhaust hangers = 6 Cabin Heat Run including Heat exchanger = 7 Oil Returns = 8 Smoke Oil and EGT exhaust connections = 6 Oil Breather exhaust run = 4 Exhaust Heat Insulators = 2 Sniffle Valve = 2 I had such a fun time getting that done. The working space is so open..... However, they are all safety wired now. Also installed the very difficult rubber oil line grommet throught a baffle hole up front for the governor oil line to the prop. Little oil worked wonders. Also, because the oil line did not sit exactly in the center of the cutout, I slit 1/3 of the already slit rubber grommet deeper so it could ride up over the offcenter pinch point.
