This is Sky-Tec's latest starter. XLT model. There are absolutely no conflicts with horizontal air plenum or mixture linkages. Love it. Time will tell if its as good as they advertise. I think it will be. I removed the two-cable harness and made the marked cuts, slipped on 2 sizes of shrink wrap and the connection cover on each end and crimped all the lugs in the correct clock position. Remounted the harness, adjusted and permanently tightened all clamps and cable end nuts except for the one on the starter. Now that its all permanently mounted, I will disconnect it at the starter to prevent unwanted starter engagement while I am continuing with the electrical work.
Starter cable marked for correct clocking and cut.
